Our Agro-culture initiative puts an effort of practical assistance in hope to enrich the sponsors and the members who sustain the local culture, values and traditions to build an economically resilient and self-sufficient communities to enable their ability to sustain for self and others.

We take into account the community members as the pillar and main sponsors sustaining traditional values, and culture important for peace and happiness in the communities across the country. The economic ability of the rural communities determine the stability and sustainability of a community’s culture and traditional values since it offers basic needs not only to live a good life but also to learn, be learned, and to be aware.

Therefore, our agro-culture project supports farming communities with equipment, training, tools and awareness in the organic farming mechanisms for a sustainable farming.

Our Argo-culture initiative working with partners and donors distributed 12 greenshouses to 11 farmers groups and a school in 2021 in Ura in Bumthang with support for farm tools and seeds .

In 2023 this initiative is looking at distributing five power tillers, hand tools and seeds to five groups of farmers in Monggar targeting at least a total of 200 farmers with trainings in organic farming.

In Ura, the initiative will continue to re-enforce the farming community with another 12 greenhouses to 12 groups of farmers with at least 15 members each. The groups will also be supported with mini-power tillers for vegetable farming with hand tools, seeds and training.
